It is now getting the red cone in the middle which I've heard is the start of the fruit, but they say this cone changes into a blue flower first. Then after the flower dies off then actual fruit begins to form, and the entire process takes about 6 months. I am so excited to see if it will finally make a pineapple or not. We left it there like 2 months, though, because we forgot. Anyway, we finally put it outside, and it's 1.5 years old now and humongous. It is now 40 inches wide and 32 inches tall!
