DIY Geometric Stamp Town

This beautiful artwork was made by Claire from Fellow Fellow with simple geometric shapes cut out of stamp blocks.

We think this idea would be pretty fun with kids. You simply supply them with a multitude of geometric shapes (pre)cut from stamp blocks or even from erasersĀ and a rainbow of ink pads and let them loose over sheets of paper. You might want to find some washable ink pads or alternatively have a pretty relaxed attitude to brightly stained fingers/clothes/tabletops.

From there, with a little bit of encouragement, kids will produce some incredible, wild, futuristic, rambling cities, each with its own personal flavour. Show them Claire’s beautiful work as inspiration.

If cities aren’t sparking their imaginations, Claire also produced a page of crazy geometric animals – equally cool.
